The Town of Springfield is a quiet, but thriving area in western Marquette County Wisconsin. Our location in west-central Wisconsin affords our 600+ residents the opportunity to enjoy scenic surroundings while maintaining easy access for agriculture and industry. The Town is at the lower edge of the area shaped by the last glacial period which provides us with numerous oak ridges and rolling farm fields. The Town of Springfield offers excellent trout fishing, deer and turkey hunting plus two major wildlife areas for hiking and recreational use. If you enjoy fresh air and a friendly atmosphere while building for a sustainable future.

Vision Statement

Residents in the Town of Springfield envision that the town will remain a peaceful, aestetically pleasing, rural community by preserving agricultural areas, historic aspects and natural resources; whereby residents will enjoy clean air, water and recreational oppertunities associated with the natural beauty of the enviroment. Springfield will manage growth and developement with reasonable regulation in a fiscally responsible manner
